1. HM: Legacy of the 2004 Summer Olympics
On Sept. 5, 1997, Athens was awarded the 2004 summer Olympic games. After watching this video of the desolation of the venues 8 years after the games, explain the importance of events (such as the Olympics, TIFF, Women's Junior World Cup) to the countries that are granted permission to host them.
2. With your partner from yesterday and copying the model provided, create a card for our class timeline that outlines the DATE, NAME and DOCUMENT of the document studied yesterday.
